Overnight Camp: July 17 - 19, 2020
Santa Clara Overnight Camp is the perfect way to enjoy a California day. Held on our beautiful Mission Campus, this camp is a perfect way to perfect all skills within the game of volleyball. Open to ages 12-18, the curriculum for this camp varies depending on age and skill level. Those new to the game can be introduced to the fundamentals of passing, setting, digging, serving, attacking, and much more. Ready to take your game to the next level? Our advanced groups will challenge you with Team Concepts including team defenses, play calling, opponent scouting, offense & defense recognition, all while refining your individual skills.
Our Overnight Camps are separated into three training sessions by a lunch and dinner break (all meals provided). The morning session introduces the skill sets of the day. Each individual’s technique is evaluated, corrected, and improved during each training session. After a hearty lunch on campus, participants return to the gym to compete in drills and games designed to utilize and improve the skills acquired in the morning. A dinner break allows everyone the opportunity to refuel, recover, and meet new friends in the process. A friend during a meal maybe a teammate or opponent quickly thereafter as the evening session entails team competitions. Participants are grouped with their teams and their very own Camp Coach and run a quick practice before scrimmaging other teams. All this is done in preparation to win The Bronco Tournament held on the last day of camp!
Did someone say RACE? On the eve of the last day teams rally together to participate in Santa Clara’s Original AMAZING RACE! This event is an action packed, entertaining, bonding experience that is sure to be unforgettable to all!

All sessions and age groups are held on campus in our beautiful and air conditioned facilities. All participants train in both The Leavey Center and The Malley Recreation Center .
What do I bring?
Athletic attire (gym shoes, shorts, t-shirt, knee pads), a great attitude, linens (or sleeping bag), pillow, towel, and toiletries.
Check-in will take place on Friday at 9:00AM at The Leavey Center. A parent/guardian must sign in. Breakfast will not be provided, so make sure you eat before arriving.
Check-out will take place on Sunday at 4:00 PM at The Leavey Center. A parent/guardian must sign out.
All participants will be housed in the dormitories located on campus. Only TWO campers to a room!
Only participants and coaches are permitted in the dormitories. Linens are not provided. All participants should bring their own linens or sleeping bag.
Parking is free on the weekends. On Monday, Leavey Center and the parking lot across the street will have parking available.
All participants traveling by air should arrange for travel into San Jose International Airport (SJC). Transportation TO and FROM SJC will be provided only if flight itineraries are received via email to email@example.com a week prior to camp.
Items including bottled water, Gatorades, snacks, and SCU apparel are available for purchase at the camp store. At check-in, each parent has the option to deposit money into his/her daughter’s Camp Account from which her purchases would be debited throughout the duration of camp. We will accept check or cash for deposits. All unused funds will be fully refunded at check-out. Checks can be made out to: Bronco Volleyball Camp.
All training sessions are open for viewing to family and friends.
Insurance and Medical Care
All participants must be covered by their parent’s insurance. Forms must be turned in at or before check-in. In case of emergency, all efforts will be made to contact you. If you are unable to be reached, appropriate action will be taken to ensure your daughter’s health.
Cancellations prior to July 1st will be refunded the paid amount minus a $100 administrative fee.
No refunds will be given after July 1st.
